December 2, 2025 FIRE NUMBER SIGN REPLACEMENT HAS BEGUN The Town of Jackson has begun the process of replacing all Fire Number signs in the town. The effort will begin with addresses in the Town that are part of the Wisconsin Dells School District. After that, addresses in the Westfield School District and the Adams-Friendship School District will be done. The new signs will be blue instead of the current red. The color blue withstands sun exposure better and offers better visibility at night, especially in brush. Where necessary, posts will be replaced as well. We expect the project to take several months to complete. If your sign is already badly faded you will not need to request a new sign.
